Finding your way to Elevate: A step by step guide to get you to Paulas clinic for Acupuncture, Cupping and Clinical Hypnotherapy

Elevate is conveniently located at the Charing Cross area of Glasgow: 116 Elderslie Street, Glasgow, G3 7AW to be precise!

I am in my (hopefully) final clinic, having worked at Woodland Herbs, The Bothwell Clinic, and within my own space Health Rediscovered on both Gordon Street and Waterloo Street! I am still offering acupuncture, cupping and clinical hypnotherapy along with lifestyle advice, and coaching to help you elevate your health and well-being.

The clinic is called Elevate and I’m now working alongside my friend and colleague Eleanor Davies, who specialises in fertility acupuncture, while I am using acupuncture to specialise in mental health support (acupuncture for anxiety, depression, PTSD/cPTSD), Musculoskeletal pain and/or dysfunction  (e.g. arthritis management, fibromyalgia), and digestive complaints (such as IBS and Crohn’s/Celiac) – it still amazes me at how powerful acupuncture can be! (especially when combined with other modalities such as diet therapy and hypnotherapy!).

To help you find us easily, we've provided detailed directions below:

By Public Transportation:

  • Bus: From the East of the clinic: Take bus routes (3, 77 and x76) and get off at the 'Elderslie Street' stop. From there, it's a short walk back to the clinic (on the diagonally opposite corner of the lights).
  • From the west of the clinic: take bus routes (3, 77, x25, x25A, x76 or x77), and get off at the 'Elderslie Street' stop, from there walk forward, past Mister Singhs and down to the right, crossing the road.
  • Train: The nearest train station is Charing Cross, or Anderston From there, you can take a wee 10 minute walk to the clinic
  • Subway: the nearest subway stop is St Georges Cross. Head down to Maryhill Road, then right onto St Georges Road, then right onto Sauchiehall Street, and then left down Elderslie Street and we are at the end of the 2nd block – just before the traffic lights (google suggests a 14 minute walk).

By Car:

  • Parking: There is street parking available, charges apply from Monday to Friday 8am-6pm.
    • I checked with a parking attendant and you can use the RingGo codes for Berkely Street: 20348 and for Elderslie Street: 20357 (even though the closest machine doesn't have the numbers on it - as long as its within the same region you can use another street)
  • A good few of my patients are choosing to use the Central Gurdwara Singh Sabha (the Sikh temple) car park - it's approx £3 for 2 hours - but do bring cash for that as they don't accept card payments!
  • Directions: Sat nav will try to drop you right outside the front door - which of course is ideal HOWEVER, this can involve going round a oneway system if you've come in from the east, and there is limited parking right outside, and you might find yourself going round AGAIN onto Berkeley Street - personally this is where I'd park if I were in your shoes (I've noticed often that the spaces just at the corner of Berkeley and Elderslie are often empty and then its a 2 second walk round the corner to the entrance).

On Foot:

I'll assume if you live nearby you will find us easy enough 😉 Mister Singhs is a pretty well known restaurant near by.
