How to find acupuncturist Paula at Elevate

How to Find Paula at her new clinic: Elevate

Updated: Jun 22

Here you will find directions on how to find the clinic – Elevate: Health and - Well-Being – at my new location 116 Elderslie Street, Glasgow, G3 7AW.

Once you are in the building..

Once through that door you will be in the building reception area, come through another 2 internal doors (that aren't locked) and turn to the left before the stairs and then the entrance to Elevate is straight ahead - I'll come open that door (it is kept secure) and welcome you to the beautiful new space.

Getting Public Transport?

Train

Closest train station is Charing Cross: come out station and head towards Bath Street/Motorway, come past the Mitchell Library (it should be on your left).. We are on the corner of Berkeley Street and Elderslie Street, so wander round right hand side of this street (on the path obviously!), past Granville Street keep going - at the next road your taking a RIGHT and then 116 Elderslie Street is the next door you will see - so press the buzzer for Elevate and I'll welcome you in.

Bus

Either the 3 or 77 come down Berkeley - getting off just before Gurdwara Singh Sabha temple From city centre - or Suchiehall Street if coming towards the city.

Or get the 2 to St Vincent street and walk up Elderslie Street (if coming from city centre end)

OR the 4/4a and get off just before it turns into Woodlands Road and then head back down towards Mitchell Library.

Cycling

There is a dedicated cycle lane on Elderslie street, but there are no designated cycle storage facilities on the street - closest I am aware of are near the Mitchell Library.

Directions for Drivers to find Elevate

Please accept these are rough guidelines only – the bus lanes etc seem to be changing all the time, and of course these don’t account for road closures for repairs, filming etc.. so don’t rely solely on my directions – please use your common sense and know that thanks to the grid system there are LOTS of ways to get close to the clinic using your car!

East Bound M8:

  1. Use Junction 19

turn left up pitt street, left again onto St Vincent Street,

option 1: Right onto North street, then left onto Berkeley Street

Option 2: or go straight on and turn right onto Elderslies Street and then park before Berkeley street

Junction 18 (east bound)

turn left onto St Georges Road, then cross over motorway onto Newton Street before turning right onto Berkeley Street. (which is where I would park from this direction).

M8 West Bound:

Junction 18, leads straight onto Newton street, then turn right onto Berkeley Street.

PARKING RULES (as I understand them!)

Elderslie street is chargable between 8am and 6pm - the maximum stay is 3 hours.

At time of writing (June 2024) its £1 per 15 mins and the machine right outside the clinic appears to be cash only and not accessible to the Ringgo app (https://myringgo.co.uk/) - but further down the street is - so not sure if it is usable or not - I will try find the answer but for now bring actual cash!

Berkeley street has way more street parking than Elderslie Street.

You also have the option during office hours to park in the secure carpark provided by Central Gurdwara Singh Sabha (link).

Street Parking charges apply from 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday For an hour appointment I’d suggest 1hour and 15 as a minimum.
Outwith these hours street parking is free, it is also okay to park on SINGLE yellow lines (as long as not causing an obstruction).

BLUE BADGE HOLDERS

There are no disabled only bays in the area, but plenty of space to use your badge as you would normally for parking.
